In most areas throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, your local trash hauler will take unwanted window air conditioners, refrigerators and/or freezers, so long as the refrigerant has been removed by an EPA certified technician. If you are in need of refrigerant recovery services:
· Remove any doors or secure them so children cannot get trapped inside.
· Call Charlie at 513.722.5136 to schedule an appointment to have the refrigerant removed.
If your community holds “Junk Days”, or you have neighbors who are also in need of refrigerant recovery, let us know. Multiple customers on the same day, in the same neighborhood, will earn each of you a discount.
